Firmly believing in the importance of preventive care and healthy habits for lifelong well-being, my goal is to support you from conception through every stage of life. I'm certified in the Webster Technique for pregnant patients and have undergone extensive post-doctorate training in Prenatal and Pediatric care through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). I want to equip and support you through chiropractic and functional movement, so you can flourish in every season of life.
My journey started with a love for sports from a young age, fueled by a deep curiosity about the human body and a passion for improving health naturally. This led me to pursue a career as a Physical Education and Health teacher. However, it wasn't until I immersed myself in Triathlons that my teammates convinced me to explore Chiropractic care. Experiencing firsthand the remarkable improvements in my performance and overall well-being, I knew I had stumbled upon a "secret weapon" of health that I needed to share with others.

I love getting to work with women in so many different seasons of life. From helping athletes unlock their full potential and prevent injuries, to caring for women through pre & postpartum.
Our bodies have an incredible ability to heal themselves. Think about it, you don't have to tell your heart to beat or your lungs to breathe. If you get a bruise or a cut, in a few days you won't even see them anymore!
What makes all this magic happen? Your central nervous system, which sends & receives info to every cell, tissue, and organ in the body to keep things functioning properly.
The problem? Misalignment of the spine can cause interference to the system and lead to dysfunction.
The solution? Spine maintenance, through chiropractic care and learning to move properly can be such a powerful combination to keep you feeling great and promote overall wellness!

Every time you get adjusted there is a benefit. Cortisol is decreased and the nervous system is
balanced. Muscles relax and joints move efficiently. If there are no injuries or chronic pain
complaints, we recommend a wellness adjustment which can be biweekly, monthly, or even
quarterly depending on the individual. Everyone is different, and the amount and type of stress
you experience plays a role in the recommended care schedule. For example, if you spend
most of your work day at a desk, are pregnant, or are a high-performing athlete, you are putting
a lot of stress on your body, albeit, very different stress, both cause the body to have to adapt
and a lack of adaptation leads to dysfunction and pain.
The first physical stress a newborn undergoes is the birth process. Once they are out of the
womb, they are developing at a very rapid rate and learning to adapt to their new environment.
These naturally occurring processes can cause restriction of the spine that can lead to difficulty
latching and breastfeeding well, constipation, colic, reflux, torticolis, etc. Even without
complications, a newborn’s nervous system becomes regulated and relaxed after an adjustment
which can improve sleep, temperament, digestion, and development overall.
Functional movement refers to the ability to perform everyday activities with ease and
without risk of injury. It involves using multiple muscle groups to work together,
emphasizing coordination, strength, and flexibility. Functional movement exercises are
designed to train and improve movement patterns necessary for daily tasks, such as
walking, lifting, and bending and exercises. I will assess your posture, gait and
movement and create a plan to build a foundation of functional strength. Follow-ups are
meant to ensure you using proper form and comfortable with the movements. From
here, you can take these movements into any exercise program and confidently build
fitness knowing you are moving well. The major difference is the attention to detail of
the foundational movements and teaching you how to do them properly.
We specialize in Prenatal, Postpartum, Pediatrics, and Athletes, but all spines are
welcome!
The foundation of care in Chiropractic is the spinal adjustment. However, at WHC we
believe soft tissue work aka, working on the muscles and fascia, and proper exercise,
are just as important. So often I am asked if its more of a joint problem or a muscle
problem and do they need an adjustment or a massage. The truth is, it is often a
weakness problem. Restoring joint function via a Chiropractic adjustment and releasing
the tissue via myofascial release, cupping, dry needling etc, can reduce pain and
inflammation and allow the individual to come to a place where they can properly
strengthen to prevent further issues.
